I Have a Mötley Crüe Song Stuck In My Head

I'm on my way home sweet home. Go away!! Seriously, what is it about the human brain that refuses to let a song, or really, one or two lines from a song to escape from our conscious? There is no obvious way of forcing it out, so what the fuck? I've found that this is especially recurrent with songs that you start but don't finish. Is it some sort of obsessive compulsive need to get the song finished? If so, why doesn't it just play out in one's head and leave politely? No no no, it must stay far past its welcome, like the guy you don't like that you invited over to your party to be polite, but he gets drunk and asks for the guest room, then sleeps in for half the day and wakes up and eats half of your food, then watches 10 hours of fucking Jersey Shore before finally reluctantly leaving. ...Okay, I think I got off-topic there, but the point still stands! I think! Nobody would listen to a 5-hour song, so why must our subconscious sabotage our sanity so cruelly this way? I demand an explanation!

School starts soon. And you thought I was infrequent when I had a ton of free time...
